At Northumberland Road in Leamington Spa, the project combined home renovation and refurbishment with chimney alterations and structural support. Work across two floors included a renewed bedroom, a new bathroom and improvements to the front living room.
The scope brought structural alterations and internal refurbishment together. It included removal of the chimney breast, support for the remaining chimney and improvements to the first-floor bedroom, adjoining bathroom facilities and ground-floor front living room.
The chimney breast was removed through both floors. Structural steelwork was installed to support the remaining chimney within the loft space.
The first-floor bedroom was fully refurbished, with renewed wall finishes, flooring, skirting and final detailing. A new bathroom suite and shower were installed to modernise the adjoining facilities.
On the ground floor, the front living room received flooring upgrades, plasterboard repairs and fresh internal finishes. This extended the refurbishment beyond the bedroom and bathroom into another part of the home.
The structural phase was completed before the first-floor bedroom refurbishment.
The completed work resolved structural constraints and provided a consistent internal refresh across the areas involved. The renewed bedroom, new bathroom and improved front living room made the accommodation more comfortable and usable.
